Appointment of new CEO

RSM South Africa wishes to advise that, following the decision by Louis Quintal to relocate to Australia, we are pleased to announce that Dieter Schulze will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 20 September 2021.

Dieter first joined the firm in 1985 and more recently has held the position of Regional CEO in Cape Town. He is a Registered Auditor and an experienced tax adviser and has presented at both local and international conferences on matters of tax. Much of his professional time is devoted to consulting services specifically in the area of national and international tax. Dieter also advises in the area of Family-Owned Businesses. He is the Leader of Tax Services in RSM South Africa.

Dieter is married to Viv and has two children. In his free time, he is an avid kayaker.

Louis has been with the firm since 2004. Following his relocation, he will be based in Sydney and will continue to work for RSM South Africa. We wish Louis, Lauren and their children every success with the move.
