After having completing his Certificate in the Theory of Accountancy, Musa joined RSM South Africa in February 2016 to complete his audit training contract. In February 2019, he moved to the tax department and mainly worked on Income tax compliance for Life Healthcare Group Holding limited group companies. He also worked on other small to medium size companies from a wide range of industries.
Musa has experience in external audit dealing with both IFRS and IFRS for SME’s clients. He has also dealt with the drafting of annual financial statements for both single entity reporting and consolidated financial statements during his audit article completion. Musa has been involved in income tax compliance of clients, calculations of tax expense and deferred tax, performing SARS balance recons and has dealt with SARS on a number of significant client engagements to achieve resolution.
