Roy Zwartjes

Director

Roy has been working as a Director IT Audit at RSM since 2025. In this role, he acts as the link between the auditor and the IT audit teams across multiple offices. He is also responsible for the development of the IT audit portfolio, including ISAE 3402 and other IT assurance services.

Prior to joining RSM, Roy worked as a Director IT Audit at another audit firm. He has also gained experience from a technical investigation perspective at an investigative agency. Roy holds degrees in Business Information Technology and Business Economics and completed his postmaster in IT Audit at Erasmus University.

In addition to performing IT audit work in the context of financial statement audits, Roy has extensive experience in a wide range of IT audits. His experience includes ENSIA audits within the public sector, information security audits and DigiD audits for ministries and related organisations. He is also experienced in performing ISAE 3402 audits for service organisations and assessing customised IT audit frameworks.

Alongside his work at RSM, Roy is a member of the College Kwaliteitsonderzoek (CKO) of NOREA.

His motto when performing IT audits is: quality with a pragmatic approach, professional and objective in content, while remaining constructive in the relationship.
