Every year, RSM firms across the globe come together to celebrate RSM World Day, a special occasion that brings our people closer, reminds us of our shared values, and connects our teams across borders.

This year's theme for World Day was "giving back". We raised funds for a significant donation of food and essential items for the wonderful Kiwi Charity, Kiwi Harvest. Kiwi Harvest is a food rescue operation that obtains and distributes food for those who need it most. This is a particularly important cause close to our hearts, especially in the current economic times our country finds itself in.

This year, RSM New Zealand marked the day in true Kiwi style: with sunshine, laughter, and a few (questionable) attempts at mini-golf course construction on the Auckland Harbour.

Forget spreadsheets and calculators! This time, our teams swapped balance sheets for building materials. The challenge was to design and build our own*mini putt course from scratch, using only limited supplies, ingenuity, and teamwork.

Each team brought their own flair to the task, from elaborate obstacle designs to creative themes, all while working together to create something fun, functional, and fiercely competitive.

Once construction wrapped up, it was time to test our handiwork. The results? A mix of impressive engineering, a few hilarious collapses, and a lot of friendly rivalry.

World Day offered a chance to step away from the desk, strengthen bonds, and celebrate what makes RSM special: our amazing people.

We can’t wait to see what we’ll build next year (both on and off the course)!
