Prabhjit Singh

Principal

Prabhjit Singh is a Principal at RSM New Zealand’s Auckland office, bringing broad expertise across all aspects of accounting for clients in Property Development, Real Estate, Transport, Professional Services and Manufacturing. 

He also specialises in securing bank funding for new and emerging businesses, providing strategic financial forecasting and funding support to drive sustainable growth.

EXPERIENCE

Prabhjit began his career in 2012 with a Chartered Accountant firm in India, where he joined as an Audit Assistant. He worked primarily on bank audits alongside specialist teams, while also supporting a broad range of small and large clients with accounting and tax compliance. During this time, he developed particular expertise in capital gains tax and small business acquisitions.

Prabhjit subsequently joined a mid-tier firm in New Zealand as an accountant, progressing through the ranks before joining RSM in 2022 as a Senior Accountant. Since joining RSM, he has supported numerous clients in navigating complex business challenges and achieving their next stage of growth through practical, commercially focused advice.

Outside of work, Prabhjit is a devoted father who enjoys spending quality time with his two energetic young boys. He is passionate about boxing and has developed a strong interest in competitive fitness, having competed in two events last year and already committed to three competitions this year. He enjoys staying active, challenging himself, and often listens to podcasts in his downtime.
