The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system is available under the SaaS (Software as a Service) model, which means that using the system involves a cyclical subscription fee for online access. The software runs in a secure cloud environment, most often on the Microsoft Azure platform with a certified provider. Updates are performed automatically - minor ones every month, major ones twice a year - without the need to involve users.
The type of licence depends on the system version.
