As a member of the SG Tech team, you will take part in diverse and challenging assignments in the areas of governance, risk, and compliance advisory, audit and consultancy. These may include engagements in cybersecurity, information security, personal data protection, and disaster recovery security reviews across clients from various industries. Your role will involve assessing and advising on controls spanning people, processes, and technology to help organisations strengthen their governance and risk management practices.

As an Associate, you will play a key role in assisting the team in learning and delivering client engagements. Depending on your competencies and experience, your responsibilities will include:


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assisting in advisory, audit, and consulting services across various industries in alignment with cybersecurity and data protection frameworks (e.g., ABS OSPAR, Singapore PDPA, ISO 27001, CSA Cyber Essentials/Trust).
  • Assisting in the evaluation of governance structures, risk management frameworks, and control environments using industry standards (e.g., NIST, COBIT, PCI DSS, CIS) and providing actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Supporting the team in implementing risk mitigation strategies and embedding governance, risk, and compliance best practices into their operations.
  • Preparing draft reports, and presenting findings with clear, practical recommendations for remediation and process improvement.
  • Assist in conducting meetings, presentations, and other client interactions in a manner that enhances the firm’s credibility and strengthens opportunities to win new business.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent professional qualifications with internal audit, IT audit &/or security working experience.
  • Experience in professional service firms such as IT Security Firms or Big Four will be an advantage but not a must.
  • Possess good interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Good command of the English Language, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to liaise with Chinese speaking clients is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel overseas for job assignments.
