In the fifth and final instalment of the Tax Chats series, Belinda Crowley discusses Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCU).

ACCUs, which have come up recently in a few instances, are available for issue as a result of projects which comply with the requirements under the Emissions Reduction Fund, or the ERF.

This is a complex area, and separate advice should always be sought prior to engaging in such a project just to determine both eligibility and feasibility.
