Seventeen teams fought for the title of Corporate Cup Champions at this year’s Nail Can Hill Run, with RSM Australia managing to walk home as winners for the second year in a row.

The team, dubbed “RSM Warriors”, were a little nervous leading up to the event, says Vicki Kirby, a long-standing Nail Can competitor and senior manager at the firm.

“After many years of competing in the event, last year was our first time winning the corporate cup so we were a little nervous about our chances winning again this year,” says Vicki. “We had some really dedicated runners on our team who are all very impressive athletes in their own respects”.

The team of 35, with 16 tackling the full 11.3km run, are made of staff, clients, family and friends, who celebrated the event together along with other competitors at the finish line, offering cool drinks, fresh fruit and lollies.

The Nail Can Hill Run is an iconic annual event for the area, attracted well over 1,500 competitors from across the country. This year, The Carevan Foundation and YES Youth and Family Services were the beneficiaries from funds raised by the event. The RSM Albury office were first-time sponsors for the Corporate Cup and look forward to supporting this great event in the future.
