Session 2: IIA Victorian Chapter & RSM Australia’s Data and AI series.

RSM Australia, in partnership with The Institute of Internal Auditors Australia (IIA Australia) Victoria Chapter, invites you to the second session in our Data and AI series – designed for internal auditors.

As AI becomes embedded across organisations, internal audit teams are being asked to provide confidence over governance, risk and control frameworks. In this session, we’ll explore how organisations are applying AI in risk management and what this means for audit planning, assurance approaches and stakeholder expectations.

What you’ll learn:

  • How organisations are deploying AI today and the common use cases relevant to risk and compliance practitioners
  • Key risks and control considerations (including governance, data, bias, security, privacy and third-party risks)
  • Practical audit questions, evidence sources and assurance activities you can take back to your organisation

We’ll build on our prior session on strong data governance fundamentals and focus on what ‘good’ looks like when AI moves from concept to day-to-day operations.

Register to join your Victorian peers for an in-person, interactive discussion on this rapidly evolving area.

Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees are eligible to earn 1 CPE point.
