Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in the administration of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements, which include (i) liquidation, (ii) receivership, (ii) judicial management, (iii) scheme of arrangement, (iv) monitoring / special accountant and (v) debt restructuring. Responsibilities include (list not exhaustive):
- Assist in the preparation of letters, notices, emails and reports
- Take control of the business premises and assets, followed by realisation '
- Information gathering from books/records of clients and third parties
- Indexing and safekeeping of books and records
- Recovery of debts
- Adjudication of creditors' claims
- Investigation of past transactions
- Assist in the financial review and preparation of restructuring proposals
- Attend meetings and preparation of minutes of meetings
-Clarifies issue(s) / problem(s) to be addressed and communicate clearly and timely to supervisors Education - Degree in Accountancy, Law or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA Experience - Fresh graduates and those with less than 2 years of experience in corporate insolvency and/or external audit Skills - Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
- A strong team player
