Responsibilities

As a Trainee in the Data Science team, you will be part of an energetic group driving the organization's data and technology agenda. You will have the opportunity to innovate new platforms that automate business processes, lead data analytics projects, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen our data and technology ecosystem. This role offers exposure across multiple domains, including automation, analytics, data visualization, artificial intelligence, and application development. Each trainee will work in at least one of these areas, depending on skills and interests, and will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools while collaborating with professionals across service lines to solve real business challenges.

1. Automation, Analytics & Data Visualization

  • Design and develop automation workflows to improve business efficiency.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate insights.
  • Research and deploy new tools or platforms to enhance existing business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and build data-driven solutions for business pain points.

2. Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of client data to generate actionable insights.
  • Research, train, and deploy machine learning models to support business needs.
  • Explore innovative AI use cases to augment our professional service offerings.

3. Application Development

  • Design and build web-based applications.
  • Work across both front-end and back-end components to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Support initiatives to future-proof the firm by identifying key technology trends and integrating them into our systems.

Requirements

We are looking for trainees who are curious, driven, and passionate about data science and technology. You don’t need to be an expert — what matters most is your willingness to learn and contribute. The following qualities and experiences will be valuable:

  • Driven, inquisitive, and self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Demonstrated competency in any of the following areas will be advantageous:
    • Automation, Analytics & Data Visualization (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI, Python, etc.)
    • Artificial Intelligence (e.g. machine learning, NLP, sentiment analysis, image/OCR, and GenAI, etc.)
    • Application Development (e.g. Python/VBA, React/Django/Flask/Dash, UI/UX, database design, FastAPI and Docker)
