Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of bankruptcy estates
  • Understand legal aspects, processes, and timeline of bankruptcy administrations                            
  • Prepare letters, notices, emails and reports
  • Take control of bankrupt's assets followed by realisation
  • Gather information from bankrupts and other third parties
  • Maintain a database of information and records
  • Review and present financial information                                                                              •
  • Conduct site visits
  • Adjudicate creditors' claims
  • Investigate past transactions
  • Assist with the reviewing of cases/issues, and preparation of file-notes
  • Attend meetings and take down minutes
  • Coach and guide junior team members, and review their work

Requirements

  • Degree in accountancy, law or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in corporate insolvency and/or external audit
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
  • Excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
  • A strong team player
