In the Business Times coverage (12 May 2020) on how Singapore firms with China operations are faring as the lockdown eases in China, RSM’s Head of China office Tan Lee Lee revealed that travel restrictions into and out of China arising from COVID-19 has created more opportunities for RSM to provide advisory work. “Where once businesses can send their staff into China to resolve issues, today we are engaged to help plug the gap with our local workforce, from assisting in sourcing for buyers for their property disposals to negotiations with local governments on corporate matters”, she said.

It is also timely that our China office had since early 2020 entered into collaborations with local business partners in other cities, enabling us to serve clients from 6 to 60 offices in China. The opportunities arising from the COVID-19 crisis have also cascaded to RSM in Singapore, where we are able to help Chinese companies who need to get things done outside of China, whether in Singapore or other parts of the world, through the global RSM offices.
