David provides taxation advice to clients covering all areas including:
- taxation law, GST law and practice at both a compliance and strategic level
- taxation due diligence reviews for corporate takeovers, divestment, IPOs and other capital raisings
- tax implications of restructuring
- corporate international tax issues including 'thin capitalisation' positions, preparation of transfer pricing reports and advising on tax effective international remittance strategies
- representing clients with the ATO in the context of ruling submissions, review, audits and other matters
SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS
David has been involved in:
- leading the introduction of AASB112 income tax methodology into many clients
- demutualisations and due diligence assignments leading to IPOs
- undertaking GST system reviews for several large clients
