Welcome to
THE FULL ACCOUNT -
RSM's local newsletter.

Life in Regional Australia is an extraordinary journey, and we're thrilled to have you on board as a valued member of our local community.

As we approach the end of the financial year and embark on the tax season, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the triumphs and challenges we have experienced in the past six months and to share some of the highlights with you.

We understand that this year has presented its fair share of challenges for many. In this edition of The Full Account, we have curated valuable insights and expert advice tailored specifically for our local market. We genuinely understand your needs, and our aim is to equip you with the knowledge you need to excel in your business endeavours.

The last few months have been busy for the Albury office, with many personal milestones, new staff and community engagement keeping us busy.

May brought us the highly anticipated Federal Budget announcement. Despite facing a slowing global economy and predicted economic growth in Australia of less than 1.5%, the Treasurer managed to deliver a budget surplus of $4.2 billion. However, increased spending on health, aged care, and defence will result in a deficit of $13.9 billion in the coming year. As always, budgets have winners and losers among our clients.

Our team is here to provide expert guidance and support as we review your finances and meet tax obligations together. Your success is our priority, and we look forward to connecting with you soon.

Thank you for choosing RSM as your trusted accounting partner.

Best regards,

The team at RSM in Albury

Recently, our office took a moment to remember and pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations, as well as those currently serving in Defence.

We were privileged to host an ANZAC Day morning tea for our staff, featuring a special guest, Tony Crilly, a third-generation soldier who shared his family's experiences. It was a humbling and insightful event that further strengthened our commitment to the community. And congratulations to three-year-old Marlo for winning our 2023 Easter Competition by correctly guessing the number of Easter eggs in the jar! We are proud to be involved in these community initiatives and appreciate the opportunity to connect with and support our local community.
