Welcome to the
RSM's local newsletter.

Life in Regional Australia is an extraordinary journey, and we're thrilled to have you on board as a valued member of our local community.

As we approach the end of the financial year and embark on the tax season, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the triumphs and challenges we have experienced in the past six months and to share some of the highlights with you.
We understand that this year has presented its fair share of challenges for many. In this edition of The Full Account, we have curated valuable insights and expert advice tailored specifically for our local market. We genuinely understand your needs, and our aim is to equip you with the knowledge you need to excel in your business endeavours.

The past six months have seen significant changes within our Katanning team.

We warmly welcomed new staff members, bringing fresh perspectives and talents to our office. It has been our pleasure to support the local community by sponsoring the Great Southern Cricket Junior country week teams and raising funds for Lifeline through a remarkable feat of over 17,000 push-ups. Furthermore, we commend Katanning Principal Marie Van Blommestein for her exceptional contribution as a speaker at the Rural Edge Inspire Summit, where she shared valuable insights on succession planning.

Our team is here to provide expert guidance and support as we review your finances and meet tax obligations together. Your success is our priority, and we look forward to connecting with you soon.
Thank you for choosing RSM as your trusted accounting partner.
Best regards,
The team at RSM in Katanning

We are thrilled to share our achievements with you, especially those that reflect our people-centric values.

We are extremely proud to have won the prestigious Client Choice Award for the Best Accounting & Consulting Services Firm (>$200m) for the fifth year in a row. We also secured first place for Best Professional Services Firm (>$200m) and Best Provider to Government & Community.

Plus, we were a finalist in the Best CX Firm: Accounting & Consulting Services category. Our success story wouldn't be complete without acknowledging your unwavering support, which has been instrumental every step of the way.

We take great pride in our active involvement within the local community. Over the past few months, RSM in Katanning has been dedicated to making a positive impact and supporting various initiatives.

As proud sponsors of the Great Southern Cricket Junior country week teams, we are delighted to celebrate their success, with the U16's B section finishing in 3rd place and the U14's B section in 4th place. Additionally, our team took part in the Push Up Challenge, with RSM in Katanning's Mental Muscles committing to raise funds for Lifeline by completing a remarkable 17,292 push-ups. We are thrilled to have contributed to this meaningful cause and look forward to sharing the results in our upcoming edition. Together, we strive to be an integral part of our community, making a difference where it truly matters.

We are thrilled to welcome two talented individuals, Amrit and Courtney, to our office in Katanning. Amrit, originally from Nepal and bringing his expertise from Perth, is poised to make valuable contributions to our local community. Courtney, a resident with a deep understanding of the area, has seamlessly integrated into our team.

While we embrace the arrival of new team members, we also bid farewell to some of our colleagues. Harvey Chen remains part of the RSM family but has relocated to our Fremantle office, where he will continue to excel in his role. Additionally, we express our heartfelt appreciation to Brittany and Michelle, who have made significant contributions during their time in reception. We extend our best wishes to them as they embark on new endeavours. Together, we remain committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients, driving success in our local community.
