Advanced Polish Localization Package (Advanced PLP) provides an extension of a native functionality in Oracle NetSuite. It is a set of designed modules intended to fully support your financial NetSuite system in compliance with the Polish requirements stated in the Polish Accounting Act. We regularly update the PLP module and so we would like to announce a new version of the Oracle NetSuite Advanced Polish Localization Package 2026.1.6 software. Our release notes provide information on the features and improvements in each release.

FUNCTIONALITIES:

We have introduced the ability to display a sidebar panel within transaction records. This feature allows users to split the screen and view, in a separate window, a file stored in the NetSuite File Cabinet and linked to the"PLP Printout File" field. Additionally, a dedicated button enables users to show or hide the printout preview window as needed.

A new configuration setting allows exchange rates displayed at transaction line level to be hidden separately for advance invoices and sales orders (proforma documents).

We have introduced the"PLP Advance Invoice Item" designation for non-inventory item records, enabling these items to be used in the advance invoicing process. This enhancement streamlines the preparation of advance invoices while ensuring consistency in inventory-related accounting processes.

We have updated tax code mapping for service export transactions processed under the self-billing model within KSeF. The update includes field mappings (P_12 = 0 EX and P_18 = 1) as well as support for field P_13_9 for the NP II procedure, ensuring compliance with the latest KSeF XML schema requirements.

IMPROVEMENTS:

We have implemented a range of optimizations to improve the performance of PLP scripts running in both UI and Map/Reduce execution modes. In addition, we enhanced time zone handling (UTC/PST versus Europe/Warsaw) within Map/Reduce processes, improving date assignment for all logged events, including VIES/VAT validation requests, KSeF Registry XML imports, and related operations.

Users can now select payment methods from the dedicated"PLP KSeF Payment Methods" dropdown list, which is linked to translated value sets. This standardizes payment method codes included in KSeF XML files and ensures alignment with the latest KSeF schema specifications.

We have streamlined date management for documents imported through the KSeF Registry. The"PLP Date of Receipt" field is now automatically populated based on the"KSeF Acquisition Date" value, reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency.

Other Changes

We have enabled the import of KSeF documents issued to vendors marked as inactive. Where both an inactive and an active vendor record exist for the same business entity, the system automatically posts the document against the active vendor record.

We have removed the previous restriction that limited document numbers to 45 characters. As a result, purchase invoices with document numbers exceeding this threshold can now be successfully imported and posted through the KSeF Registry process.
