Digital Resilience Bonus ("DRB") for Food Services and Retail Sectors

The Infocomm Media Development Authority’s (“IMDA”) Digital Resilience Bonus or DRB aims to help businesses in the food services and retail sectors that are impacted by challenges arising from COVID-19 to enhance their digital capabilities. 

Eligibility for DRB

Food services and retail businesses that have PayNow Corporate accounts without suffix, e-invoicing, and use pre-defined categories of digital solutions for Business Processes, Digital Presence and Data Mining and Analytics can receive payouts of up to S$10,000.

There are three categories under the DRB:

A Case Example

Barista (S) Pte Ltd runs a coffee house with three cafes around town. The company is a subscriber of Digital Ordering System Smart Kiosk, and uses Accounting System Xero and HR/Payroll System Payday! HRMS to manage employees and their salaries.

These three solutions are IMDA pre-approved solutions for DRB, and the company has been using them for more than a month. Apart from that, Barista also fulfils the following eligibility criteria required for DRB:

• Barista falls under food or retail services with a Qualified Primary SSIC as of 26 May 2020
• Barista (S) Pte Ltd is incorporated on or before 26 May 2020
• Barista has an active PayNow Corporate account
• Barista uses InvoiceNow

As Barista has adopted all the solutions from DRB Category 1 and meets the eligibility as per IMDA’s requirements stated above, it will receive a $2,500 payout.
