RSM Australia has taken top honours at the 2019 Client Choice Awards held last evening, walking away with three awards including Best Accounting Firm (Revenue $50m to $200m).
This is the fourth time the firm has won this award.

The accolades also include both the Most Client Focused Practitioner and Best Professional awards which went to Angus Smith, Partner in the firm’s Busselton office.

RSM’s Chief Executive Partner Jamie O’Rourke who attended the awards evening said,

 ‘We are immensely proud of these awards. It takes a dedicated effort from our staff, an entire team who consistently put their clients’ needs at the heart of what they do, to achieve this level of success.

Angus who has been advising small businesses in the southwest of WA for close to 30 years was nominated in the Most Client Focused Practitioner category alongside his fellow Partner, Judy Snell who was recently awarded Director of the Year at the Women in Finance Awards.

Angus Smith said,

‘I am honoured and humbled to receive these awards. This is truly a team effort as I couldn’t do the work I get the opportunity to do every day, without the support of my team, particularly my colleagues in our Busselton office. I am also fortunate to have such a warm and proactive group of clients and a fantastic family.’

The firm had six nominations including Best Value Firm, Most Improved Net Promoter Score and Most Innovative Firm.

The firm is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement and was the only accounting practice to be a finalist in the Most Innovative category.

‘In addition to the recognition of our approach to innovation at RSM, we were delighted to be a finalist in the Most Improved Net Promoter Score category for the second year running and again the only accounting practice recognised here.
