RSM are delighted to announce that Judy Snell has been recognised as Director of the Year at the 2018 Women in Finance Awards. (Learn More)
Based in the West Australian wheatbelt town of Moora, Ms Snell, executive director at RSM thanked her family and sponsors within RSM for supporting her on her journey.
In addition to her role as an executive director which requires her to travel extensively whilst managing a number of offices, Ms Snell also manages the family farming business with her husband and has raised three children.
“To me, this award represents an acknowledgement of our firm’s effort in supporting and developing women in our firm.
We have a long legacy, we are 96 years old, but in more recent years we have consciously looked at ways to support women in senior roles, including developing a comprehensive Diversity and Inclusion Program as part of our 2020 strategy.
We are only part way through this journey but have already made a difference – we have tackled unconscious bias; developed a program for mentoring females and are fast tracking high performing women into leadership roles.”
