Puay Hoon, Head of Tax Advisory at RSM Singapore, has over 25 years of experience in corporate and individual taxation. She advises multinational enterprises on their inbound investments into Singapore and provides tax-efficient solutions to local businesses, addressing both domestic and internationalisation issues, such as mergers and acquisitions, IP structuring, corporate restructuring, tax treaty interpretation and withholding tax issues.  

In addition, Puay Hoon also handles tax advance rulings, audits and investigations and transfer pricing issues. She conducts tax health-check reviews to assist clients in meeting their tax compliance obligations.

Puay Hoon works with clients across a wide array of industries including real estate & construction, consumer products, healthcare, logistics & transportation and the fund industry. She also offers tailored solutions to high-net-worth individuals on wealth planning and generational wealth transfer strategies.  

As a Member of the Income Tax Board of Review under the Ministry of Finance, Puay Hoon contributes her technical expertise and experience in tax law and compliance.

As one of the Board Directors of the SCTP leadership team, Puay Hoon works closely with a team of distinguished senior professionals from diverse tax backgrounds to advance the tax profession by elevating technical standards, strengthening professional practice and promoting tax excellence.
