RSM CSS and PSS Superannuation Seminar

This event has finished.

Equinox Building 4 Level 2, 70 Kent Street, Deakin, 17:30-19:00pm

Are you in CSS or PSS and do you know if you are still being affected by the recent super changes?

We know that some members have recently received warning letters from their super fund, or the ATO, about being impacted by the changes to superannuation rules. These letters have been mainly aimed at those in the public sector defined benefit schemes.

Join the RSM team to hear about the issues you may be facing and how to navigate through them without stress.

We will be discussing:

Exceeding contribution limits and paying more tax Defined benefits and the total superannuation balance limit
What payments from your employer are counting towards your contribution limits? Do you know how your defined benefit account is valued?
Will you go over your limits? Will you pay more tax? What if you are over the limit? Can you still contribute?
What are your options going forward? Do you have any other super accounts? They count too.
