Cyberattacks can affect a company's operations, data, finances and reputation. Effective cybersecurity therefore requires technical security measures, clear responsibilities and an up-to-date overview of risks and vulnerabilities. RSM helps you assess your cybersecurity, identify significant areas for improvement and prioritise the measures that best support the company's needs.

Gain an overview of your cybersecurity

We assess the company's existing security framework based on relevant risks, systems, processes and organisational factors.

An assessment can provide an overview of areas including:

  • governance, roles and responsibilities
  • protection of systems and data
  • access management
  • cyber incident management
  • resilience and recovery
  • suppliers and external dependencies
  • employee security awareness
  • technical vulnerabilities

The results are presented in a clear, action-oriented format, enabling both management and responsible functions to understand the risk profile and prioritise the next steps.

From assessment to action

Based on the assessment, you receive an overall picture of:

  • where the company is performing well
  • where the most significant risks are found

  • which improvements should be prioritised
  • who should be responsible
  • how progress can be monitored

If required, we can help prepare a prioritised roadmap and support the implementation of the recommended measures.

Penetration testing

A penetration test examines the security of a defined system, application or technical environment.

Before testing begins, the scope, testing method, time window, access arrangements and communication channels are agreed. This ensures that the test is performed in a controlled and targeted manner.

The purpose is to identify vulnerabilities and assess whether they can be exploited in practice. Following the test, you receive a report containing an executive overview, technical observations, risk assessments and specific remediation recommendations. If required, remediated observations can be followed up with a retest.

Penetration testing can be performed as a standalone engagement or as a supplement to a broader assessment of the company's cybersecurity.
