Getting access to your Danish company should not hold up your work

A Danish company needs to be able to read its Digital Post and use the digital services relevant to its operations. Access can be more difficult to set up if an administrator has left the company, no one has access to the Rights Portal, or a director or employee is based abroad without a Danish CPR number or MitID.

RSM helps companies identify what is preventing access and and navigate the steps needed to set up MitID Erhverv, assign user permissions and access Digital Post. We assist both Danish-managed businesses and Danish subsidiaries with foreign management.

How we can help

We can help you:

  • identify why a user cannot log in or access a required service
  • connect your company to MitID Erhverv and appoint the relevant administrators
  • set up foreign directors and employees as users, provided the relevant requirements are met
  • guide an employee without a Danish CPR number through the MitID and P code process
  • establish access to the Rights Portal for Digital Post (Rettighedsportalen) and assign permissions
  • give the relevant people access to the company’s Digital Post through platforms such as Virk or e-Boks
  • review access when an administrator or employee leaves the company

We start at the point where your process has stalled and help you complete the remaining steps.

Support for companies with foreign directors

The process can involve additional steps when the director of a Danish company, or the employees who need access, do not have Danish CPR numbers. The management representative must be able to approve the company’s connection to MitID Erhverv, and each foreign user must meet the applicable identity and activation requirements.

We help you determine the appropriate process, prepare the required information and coordinate with the people who need to act on the company’s behalf. Some steps must be completed by the user personally.
