Lorna's Story - Accessing super early in the case of terminal illness

Being diagnosed with a terminal illness can strike unexpectedly causing uncertainty and stress about the future.

Over two year's ago, Lorna was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 metastatic cancer.  She was told that she had less than 12 months to live and that she needed to get her financial affairs in order. 

Lorna reached out to RSM Financial Services for advice and while working alongside our advisers, was able to utilise the insurance policies on her superannuation funds and access her superannuation early to cover medical costs and tick off some items on her bucket list.
