Andrew Bowcher, Director of RSM has been recognised for his excellence in the accounting field through a Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia award.

Mr Bowcher was recognised with a NSWs President's award for excellence by CPA Australia on December 3 last year.

He was selected from a high achieving field of volunteers and members who have made an outstanding contribution to CPA Australia.

Mr Bowcher specialises in corporate insolvency for small and medium-sized enterprises, and individual insolvency solutions.

He is actively involved in the Wagga community.

He serves as a NSW Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association committee member, is the Wagga Wagga CPA branch chair, and director and chair of the Riverina Anglican College.

Mr Bowcher said he was honoured to be recognised for his efforts in the professional world and wider community.

"It is an honour to receive this award for my contribution to CPA Australia," Mr Bowcher said.

"Being part of CPA Australia helps keep me, and the team, well informed on the industry.

"The importance of which lies in RSM's overall goal of achieving commercially beneficial results while taking the pressure off clients."

CPA Australia NSW general manager David Lee, General Manager NSW, CPA Australia praised Mr Bowcher's commitment to the organisation.

"Mr Bowcher was awarded a CPA Australia Divisional President's Award for Excellence - Service and Leadership.

"The Divisional President's Award for Excellence is a prestigious award to recognise a contribution over and above what might reasonably be expected through a voluntary contribution."
