We spoke to our new principals and associate director to get to know them and learn about their hobbies outside of the accounting world - also check out their fun facts!
What is your favourite part of working in Assurance & Advisory?
The People. Working in a great and collaborative team environment made up of peers who share the same values and goals. I also really enjoy working with and supporting our clients across a diverse range of industries and companies.
Where is your next holiday going to be?
USA or Europe. Current plans are for a summer trip to Europe however in 2015 I did a secondment in Dallas, Texas with RSM US and would love to return to the USA for a holiday.
What is your favourite hobby?
Futsal (Indoor Soccer). Playing five-a-side football with friends in various social leagues around Perth.
What is your favourite part of working in Business Advisory?
I enjoy the variety. Every day I get to work with different clients, in different industries and with different challenges.
Where is your next holiday going to be?
I don’t have anything booked yet but I’m hoping to visit Sri Lanka next and I’m also planning a white Christmas with the family for 2020.
What is your favourite hobby?
I enjoy Pilates as its good for the mind and body.
What is your favourite part of working in Tax Services?
Working in a vibrant team and having the support to push for change in the tax landscape, to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
What does a typical weekend for you look like?
I started a law degree in 2019 and have taken on a full-time study load, so my typical weekend includes a lot of study. I also walk my rescue dogs and fit in an exercise class.
What is a fun fact about you?
When I left school, I studied Fashion Design. I also have a Certificate III & IV in Fitness and have a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy.
