RSM's local newsletter.

As we embark on 2026, it is the perfect time to reflect on the past year and plan for the year ahead.

Last year marked a decade of our unified global brand, a significant milestone that reaffirms our promise to you: The Power of Being Understood. For us, this means understanding your business, your connection to the RSM community, your challenges and your ambitions.
While global events have dominated headlines, we remain focused on the issues affecting regional Australia.

Severe weather often coincides with this time of year, putting rural and remote communities at risk. The new government early warning tool is a great way to stay informed, assess resilience, and plan ahead. We hope everyone stays safe and remains prepared.

It has been a busy six-months for the RSM in Goulburn office, with new members joining the team, team activities and even a few harmless scare pranks.

At RSM Australia across the country, last year has been one of continued growth under new leadership.

At the start of this financial year, Robert Miano stepped into the role of Chief Executive Partner. Since then, his focus has been on connecting with our teams and clients across the country, listening to your stories, and learning what matters most to your business.

Of course, you don't have to wait for a visit from our Chief Executive Partner to tell us your thoughts. We value your opinion and would love to hear your feedback at any time.

Best regards,

The team at RSM in Goulburn

LOCAL TEAM NEWS

We have been fortunate to have Sarah Reid and Subani Sandani Jayasinghe join the team, with Subani completing the CA Program in October 2025.

The beginning of October 2025 was all about leveling up with The High-Performance Toolkit training at Quest. Later that month, Halloween brought out our team’s spooky side, resulting in a few harmless scares.

In November 2025, we teamed up with the Canberra office for an unforgettable Melbourne Cup celebration at The Alby. We hired a bus to turn the day into a full-on team adventure!

Movember has been a popular initiative in the Goulburn office.

Our office was growing, moving, and fundraising for Movember to support men’s health, mental health, suicide prevention, prostate and testicular cancer.

As part of the celebrations, we hosted a creative moustache showcase, with women in the office participating with fake moustaches. This included a delicious lunch, fun games with prizes, cupcakes and muffin bake sale were also available, with all proceeds being donated to Movember.
