It has been a full-on start to 2026 – how are things tracking along for you?
It has been a positive and active start to the year for our Goulburn team, with a strong focus on growth, achievement and connection. We have welcomed new team members, celebrated significant professional milestones and taken the opportunity to come together for both learning and social events.
The recent Federal Budget has also introduced some significant proposed changes, particularly around capital gains, trusts and business investment, which will be important considerations as we head into the new financial year.
To make your life just a little bit easier, we've put together some updated resources that our team thinks will help you build resilience and stay strong. We hope they provide some clarity and confidence as we face future challenges.

LOCAL TEAM NEWS
It has been a milestone period for our Goulburn team, marked by both professional achievements and team celebrations.
Congratulations to Subani Jayasinghe on achieving permanent residency in May, as well as to both Subanu and Liviya Bohara on their admission as Chartered Accountants with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Sarah Reid also represented the team at the Professional Support Group conference in Adelaide in March, bringing back valuable insights.
While it technically belongs to last December, our Christmas celebration is too good not to include in this year’s highlights. The team gathered in Canberra for a festive get-together, complete with a few unexpected moments, including Liviya stepping up for some light-hearted entertainment and getting hypnotised.
Our Goulburn team also took time to come together and celebrate International Women’s Day with a fun and inclusive series of activities.
The team enjoyed a range of light-hearted games, including testing the men’s knowledge by guessing various beauty tools and a “guess the famous women” challenge using only their eyes.
It was a great opportunity to connect, share a few laughs, and recognise the important contributions of women within our team and the wider community.
