Liviya Bohara
Senior Accountant - Goulburn
Liviya Bohara is a Senior Accountant in the Business Advisory division in Goulburn, working with middle market and regional SMEs, particularly clients in agribusiness.
Her work spans financial reporting, accounting and tax compliance, tax planning and structuring, capital gains tax concessions, accounting software support and self-managed superannuation fund compliance and administration. Liviya is known for taking the time to understand how a client’s business and financial decisions connect to their longer-term goals. She helps farmers and business owners work through complex tax and accounting matters, with a practical focus on meeting their obligations while identifying opportunities to improve their financial position.

Outside of work, Liviya enjoys travelling and challenging herself through new experiences. She recently joined a Dojo Karate club and enjoys exploring a wide range of interests while continuing to learn.

Significant projects
Liviya worked closely with a client to review their business structure and identify tax planning opportunities. By understanding the client’s goals and taking a proactive approach, she helped implement a more tax-effective structure that resulted in significant tax savings and provided a stronger foundation for future growth.
Before joining RSM, Liviya worked in a small accounting practice across administration, accounting and taxation. The hands-on nature of the role gave her experience across the end-to-end client process and helped build a broad foundation for her work with clients today.
