RSM's local newsletter.

2025 is shaping up to be quite a roller coaster year.

With extreme weather events, trade wars, an election, and even a new pope, the news cycle has been relentless, making it challenging to keep track of important updates amidst the chaos.

For those of us living in regional Australia, it's tempting to tune it all out and enjoy the peace and quiet. To make it easier, the team here at Narrogin has hand picked some insights that we think you’ll find relevant.

With the financial year now behind us, we’re taking time to reflect on the past six months at our Narrogin office.

We hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and find the contents useful and informative.

Best regards,

The team at RSM in Narrogin

LEADERSHIP CHANGES

This year has been a time of change, both for the world and for RSM Australia. On June 30, we bid goodbye to our Chief Executive Partner, Jamie O’Rourke.

Jamie began his career with RSM 34 years ago in the regional office of Goulburn before moving to Sydney in 1997. As our national leader for the past nine years, Jamie guided us through a period of significant growth and change, including managing the disruptions and challenges brought about by the pandemic. Throughout his tenure, he maintained and strengthened RSM’s strong presence in regional Australia, stating, “While we continue to grow across all areas, our regional footprint is unique and integral to our national identity.”

We are pleased to announce Robert Miano as our new Chief Executive Partner, effective July 1, 2025.

With over 25 years of experience in audit and corporate advisory work, Robert is well-equipped to lead RSM Australia into the future.

  • Sharon Baldwin | Toowoomba, Business Advisory
  • Amanda Beckhouse | Wagga Wagga, Business Advisory
  • Ross Dixon | Albury, Business Advisory
  • Kara Golding | Geraldton, Business Advisory
  • Reagan Manns | Moora/Jurien Bay, Business Advisory

LOCAL TEAM NEWS

Our Narrogin office was closed for nearly four weeks in April as we underwent a significant renovation.

During this time, all staff worked from home while builders and tradies worked around the clock to complete the renovations as quickly as possible. We are proud of our new office layout and design, and we would like to thank all our clients for their patience during this period.

RSM in Narrogin was a proud sponsor of the Stableford Competition, which was held this year at the Cuballing Golf Club with thirty-one players.
