The Multicultural Connect Grants Program supports capital infrastructure projects that involve building or upgrading permanent community spaces in Queensland.

The Multicultural Connect Grants Program supports capital infrastructure projects that involve building or upgrading permanent community spaces in Queensland. The program supports multicultural organisations to deliver facilities – such as community halls, meeting spaces, hubs or sporting facilities – that meet the needs of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including migrants, refugees, people seeking asylum and Australian South Sea Islander peoples.

The program aims to:

  • Enhance community infrastructure
  • Promote cross-cultural understanding
  • Strengthen social cohesion by supporting safe, accessible and adaptable facilities

Grant funding of up to $500,000 is available. The total funding pool is $1.25 million.

Funding is available on a 1:1 cash contribution basis.

Applicants must:

  • Be based in Queensland
  • Have no overdue reports, service delivery or performance issues for funding received from Multicultural Affairs Queensland

Eligible applicants include:

  • Not-for-profit or charitable organisations legally registered in Australia
  • Local government bodies

Expressions of interest close 14 November 2025.

Successful shortlisted EOI applicants will be invited to submit a full application by 8 December 2025.
