Nathan Walter
Principal - Manjimup

Nathan started his career in the Manjimup office as an undergraduate accountant after growing up and attending school in Manjimup.

It was late in 2000, just after the introduction of the GST, that an opportunity arose for Nathan to hone his accounting skills in real practice while completing his studies.

Now a Principal, Nathan services RSM clients across the southwest region.

This enabled him to develop excellent hands-on skills to be able to deliver exactly what the client wants. Over the past 22 years, Nathan has worked with numerous clients who are involved in different aspects of the business.

"I don't think you can get much better satisfaction than fixing a problem for someone, they are always very appreciative of a problem getting fixed."

Nathan has expertise in successfully transitioning farming enterprises from one generation to the next with minimal tax impacts and also ensuring that the siblings, who had left the farm previously, were adequately looked after.

Additionally, he has a keen interest in the hospitality and tourism sector and services multiple clients from those industries.

When not working, Nathan is pretty passionate about Aussie Rules and goes for the mighty Richmond Tigers. Growing up in the retail industry with his family's business, Nathan worked on his interpersonal skills from a young age and developed a keen interest in farming activities.
