As we embark on 2026, it is the perfect time to reflect on the past year and plan for the year ahead.

Last year marked a decade of our unified global brand, a significant milestone that reaffirms our promise to you: The Power of Being Understood. For us, this means understanding your business, your connection to the RSM community, your challenges and your ambitions.
While global events have dominated headlines, we remain focused on the issues affecting regional Australia.

Severe weather often coincides with this time of year, putting rural and remote communities at risk. The new government early warning tool is a great way to stay informed, assess resilience, and plan ahead. We hope everyone stays safe and remains prepared.

From weddings and new babies to BMX Championships, it had been a busy six-months for our team in Toowoomba.

August 2025 marked a major milestone as RSM in Toowoomba celebrated its 10th anniversary. Nat Wright also reached an incredible 10 years with the firm.

At RSM Australia across the country, last year has been one of continued growth under new leadership.

At the start of this financial year, Robert Miano stepped into the role of Chief Executive Partner. Since then, his focus has been on connecting with our teams and clients across the country, listening to your stories, and learning what matters most to your business.

Of course, you don't have to wait for a visit from our Chief Executive Partner to tell us your thoughts. We value your opinion and would love to hear your feedback at any time.

The team at RSM in Toowoomba

We are thrilled to welcome two new team members to our Toowoomba office:

• Margie Hannant has joined us as a Senior Manager and has hit the ground running. We are so glad to have her and her warm presence onboard.
• Zac Nolan has joined us as an Accountant, making a fantastic start and has been a friendly and welcomed addition to the team.

In exciting news, we are pleased to announce that Ben Twidale and his wife Tracey have welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Luca, into the world. Ellika Cabreros was also recently married.

Elle De Nooyer has some outstanding achievements at the Oceana and National BMX Championships.

And on 11 September 2025, Nikara Moss received her CA Award at the CA Darling Downs Gala Event.

The team has been soaking up the wonderful spring weather and taking advantage of having Laurel Bank Park just across the road.

Enjoying lunch in the park with the food vans that graced our presence during Carnival of Flowers and took a stroll around the grounds, admiring the beautiful flowers and gorgeous surroundings on our doorstep.
