RSM's local newsletter.

As we embark on 2026, it is the perfect time to reflect on the past year and plan for the year ahead.

Last year marked a decade of our unified global brand, a significant milestone that reaffirms our promise to you: The Power of Being Understood. For us, this means understanding your business, your connection to the RSM community, your challenges and your ambitions.
While global events have dominated headlines, we remain focused on the issues affecting regional Australia.

Severe weather often coincides with this time of year, putting rural and remote communities at risk. The new government early warning tool is a great way to stay informed, assess resilience, and plan ahead. We hope everyone stays safe and remains prepared.

Looking back, the past six months marked the end of a long and wet winter, with our farming community well and truly back in action. In turn, it was an equally busy time for the RSM Manjimup office.

Our Director, Nathan Walter attended the RSM Southern Forest Regional Wine Show and was proud to present the Wine of Show award to Pemberley Pinot Noir Chardonnay Lustre.

Nathan also had the opportunity to travel to Brisbane for Xerocon with colleagues from our other WA regional and national offices. Look out for some great updates and changes to the world of Xero.

At RSM Australia across the country, last year has been one of continued growth under new leadership.

At the start of this financial year, Robert Miano stepped into the role of Chief Executive Partner. Since then, his focus has been on connecting with our teams and clients across the country, listening to your stories, and learning what matters most to your business.

Of course, you don't have to wait for a visit from our Chief Executive Partner to tell us your thoughts. We value your opinion and would love to hear your feedback at any time.

Best regards,

The team at RSM in Manjimup

LOCAL TEAM NEWS

Our Manjimup, Busselton, and Bunbury teams joined forces for a fantastic Christmas party at the Manjimup Tennis Club!

The afternoon was spent playing tennis and pickleball, followed by delicious food catered by the Soul Cocina Mexican food truck. It was a great way to wrap up the year and connect across our regional teams.

The team also recently enjoyed a fun afternoon celebrating the Melbourne Cup, crafting cocktails together while watching the race.

Our office recently celebrated Director, Nathan Walter’s 25 years at RSM with a beautiful morning tea in the office. This was followed by a surprise dinner at Two Little Blackbirds in Manjimup. It was a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge such a remarkable milestone, and we had the best time honouring Nathan’s contributions over the years. Please join us in congratulating him on his long-standing dedication, leadership, and commitment to our team.

The RSM in Manjimup office has successfully hosted three Xero workshops, introducing clients and non-clients to the basics of the software. Each session was well attended and positively received.

Congratulations to the Deanmill Football Club league team on winning the 2025 LSWFL Premiership with their RSM-sponsored jumpers.
