RSM's local newsletter.
As we embark on 2026, it is the perfect time to reflect on the past year and plan for the year ahead.
Last year marked a decade of our unified global brand, a significant milestone that reaffirms our promise to you: The Power of Being Understood. For us, this means understanding your business, your connection to the RSM community, your challenges and your ambitions.
While global events have dominated headlines, we remain focused on the issues affecting regional Australia.
Severe weather often coincides with this time of year, putting rural and remote communities at risk. The new government early warning tool is a great way to stay informed, assess resilience, and plan ahead. We hope everyone stays safe and remains prepared.
It has been a busy six-months for our Merredin office, and we are excited to share a few of our top moments.
At RSM Australia across the country, last year has been one of continued growth under new leadership.
At the start of this financial year, Robert Miano stepped into the role of Chief Executive Partner. Since then, his focus has been on connecting with our teams and clients across the country, listening to your stories, and learning what matters most to your business.
Of course, you don't have to wait for a visit from our Chief Executive Partner to tell us your thoughts. We value your opinion and would love to hear your feedback at any time.

Best regards,
The team at RSM in Merredin
LOCAL TEAM NEWS
We are pleased to announce that our Merredin office has been recognised with a Volunteer Employer Recognition Award, highlighting our ongoing commitment to supporting staff who contribute to emergency services and community resilience.
We would like to give a special mention to Rachael Watson, who volunteers with the Merredin SES. Her dedication reflects the spirit of service we are proud to promote through our RSM Volunteer Day initiative.
We are excited to be sponsors of the 2026 Merredin Agricultural Show.
The theme, ‘Our Town, Our Stories,’ invites the community to reflect on what makes Merredin and the surrounding districts unique, memorable, and worth celebrating. It also provides a chance for local businesses to share their stories and highlight their contribution to the region.
We are excited to support an event that showcases the strength, character, and community spirit of our local area.
