Sam Gall
Financial Adviser - Ballarat
Sam Gall is a Financial Adviser in the Financial Services division in Ballarat.
He works with individuals and families to help them make informed financial decisions at every stage of life, with a particular focus on people preparing for retirement.
Before joining RSM, Sam worked as a financial adviser in a family office in Geelong, building experience across superannuation, investments and retirement planning.
He is known for explaining complex financial matters in clear, practical language, helping clients feel more confident about important decisions and giving them greater certainty as they plan for the future.
"Good financial advice should leave people feeling clearer and more confident than when they walked in. My role is to simplify complex decisions so clients can focus on the life they want to build."
Outside work, Sam enjoys taking his dog, Minnie, for runs and is a keen AFL supporter. He rarely misses an Essendon match and enjoys following the season whenever he can.

Significant projects
- Sam worked with a couple who wanted to retire without compromising the lifestyle they had built over many years. By modelling different retirement scenarios, structuring their superannuation efficiently and developing a sustainable income strategy, he helped them retire with greater certainty about their long-term financial position.
- He also assisted an individual through the financial complexities of a redundancy package. By explaining the available options and helping structure the proceeds in a tax-effective way, Sam enabled the client to make informed decisions while maintaining progress towards their retirement goals.
- One of the outcomes Sam values most came from helping a client who felt overwhelmed by the prospect of retirement. After breaking down the process into simple, practical steps and explaining their options in straightforward language, the client later called to say they felt reassured, confident and genuinely excited about the next stage of life.
