Shane Turner is a Senior Manager in the Business Advisory division in Ballarat, bringing more than 40 years of experience advising businesses across regional Australia. 

Before joining RSM, he operated his own Chartered Accounting practice for 10 years, building long-standing relationships with privately owned businesses and corporate clients.

For more than 30 years, Shane has advised a family-owned business operating across the entire winery supply chain, including viticulture, wine production, export, wholesale and retail sales. His role has evolved alongside the business, providing advice on finance, cash flow management, business growth and succession planning to support its continued development across multiple generations.

Shane has served as Founding Director, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of an ASX-listed mining and exploration company since its incorporation in 2011. He has overseen the company's establishment, initial public offering, ongoing ASX compliance and ASIC reporting obligations, providing continuity and governance throughout its growth.

He also acts as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer for another ASX-listed exploration and mining company, supporting its corporate governance, financial reporting and regulatory compliance while helping management meet the responsibilities of operating as a listed entity.

Outside work, Shane enjoys gardening, playing golf and following AFL. He values spending time outdoors and appreciates the balance these interests bring alongside his professional commitments.
