2023 has been quite the adventure, filled with highs and lows. As the year comes to a close, we are proud of the way we have navigated the challenges and opportunities together with you, our valued clients. At RSM, we believe that every challenge is an opportunity to learn, grow and innovate.

As we move forward into 2024, it’s important to remember that you can never turn back the clock. Our world is evolving at a breathtaking pace - and the speed of change is only going to get faster. In this era of rapid transformation, being well-informed, fostering connections within your community, and learning to adapt to change will be the keys to success in 2024 and beyond.

This year, we are proud to announce that we have grown to 15 people in our office, the most we’ve ever had.

Despite the challenges of changing legislation and increasing business administration, we have been able to assist our small business clients with their needs and goals. We owe our success to our amazing team, our visiting specialists like Sam Hughes from RSM Financial Services and the wider RSM group. We have also enjoyed some memorable moments this year, such as Kaitlin Cybula attending Xerocon in Sydney and sharing her passion for Xero, which is our preferred software. Kaitlin and Jo also joined some of our colleagues and clients for the Women in Farming Annual Seminar in Pingelly, where they heard wonderful stories from women finding their place in agriculture as well as some great succession planning advice.

As we look ahead to 2024, we are grateful for the support of our long-term loyal clients from across the State as well as the many new clients that have joined us during the year.

The holiday season is a reminder to celebrate the achievements and moments that truly matter. We hope you find time to cherish these precious moments with your loved ones, knowing that your financial matters are in capable hands.

TEAM NEWS

We are delighted to share some of the happy moments and achievements of our staff in the last six months.

We have been lucky to welcome some new faces and old friends to our office this year.

We greeted Gordon as our Graduate Accountant in February. He started in our Superannuation team in our Perth office then moved to Albany a few months later. He has been a great addition to our team and we are excited to see him grow. We were thrilled to have Brock back in August as a Senior Accountant. He returned to Albany from Perth after working here as a Graduate Accountant. He has brought his expertise and enthusiasm to our business advisory division and we are happy to have him back.

We also welcomed Lucinda back to the office in September after parental leave. She is now working alongside Jade, James and Paula and the wider WA Regional Superannuation team from our office. We are glad to see her again and support her in juggling work and family life.
