The Health and Medical Life Sciences Industry: Commercialisation Bridge Grant offers up to $200,000 to assist WA innovators in bridging the gap between early-stage commercialisation and ‘breakthrough growth’.
The Biomedical Industry Commercialisation Bridge Grant (CBG) aims to support Western Australian startups and scaleups in the health and medical life sciences industry by facilitating the development and commercialisation of biomedical innovations.
Funding will be awarded for projects that advance any of the following:
- Product readiness
- Team readiness
- Intellectual property readiness
- Commercialisation readiness
Grants range from $50,000 to $200,000. A matching contribution from the applicant is required.
WA-based startups or small businesses that:
- Are registered, operational and developing their innovation within WA,
- Have been trading for two or more years, and
- Employ fewer than 50 people.
Applications close 22 May 2025.
