RSM's local newsletter.

As we embark on 2026, it is the perfect time to reflect on the past year and plan for the year ahead.

Last year marked a decade of our unified global brand, a significant milestone that reaffirms our promise to you: The Power of Being Understood. For us, this means understanding your business, your connection to the RSM community, your challenges and your ambitions.
While global events have dominated headlines, we remain focused on the issues affecting regional Australia.

Severe weather often coincides with this time of year, putting rural and remote communities at risk. The new government early warning tool is a great way to stay informed, assess resilience, and plan ahead. We hope everyone stays safe and remains prepared.

It is hard to believe how quickly 2025 had passed. Last year had been a busy one for our Albury office, with many exciting activities and milestones occurring.

With the ATO increasing their use of AI and automation, our team are working to understand how this impacts you as our clients and ensure we stay ahead.

At RSM Australia across the country, last year has been one of continued growth under new leadership.

At the start of this financial year, Robert Miano stepped into the role of Chief Executive Partner. Since then, his focus has been on connecting with our teams and clients across the country, listening to your stories, and learning what matters most to your business.

Of course, you don't have to wait for a visit from our Chief Executive Partner to tell us your thoughts. We value your opinion and would love to hear your feedback at any time.

Best regards,

The team at RSM in Albury

Alongside Maxine Sattler and Ross Dixon, the team connected with farmers and stakeholders during the celebration of 100 years of rice in the Riverina.

Our team enjoyed meeting future talent at the CSU Open Day and the Albury Wodonga Careers Day. Students had the opportunity to explore career opportunities at RSM and learn what life as an accountant is really like.

Community engagement remains a priority, with our Albury office participating in the Sunshine Walk to support the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund.

We are proud sponsors of the Burrumbuttock community, who recently celebrated 150 years. From a fashion retrospective to the street parade, community members were out in force celebrating.
