Alex Toogood is a Senior Accountant in the Business Advisory division in Wagga Wagga.

Since joining RSM in 2023 as an undergraduate, she has progressed to a senior role supporting regional small and medium-sized businesses across agribusiness, engineering, veterinary and manufacturing.

Alex works with clients on accounting and tax compliance, tax planning, cash flow management and business reporting, helping them make informed financial decisions throughout the year. Growing up on a family farm gives her a practical understanding of the challenges faced by regional businesses, particularly those in agriculture, and she enjoys working alongside clients to develop practical strategies that support sustainable business growth.

Alex regularly assists a diverse range of regional businesses with tax planning strategies that help them prepare for year-end obligations while identifying opportunities to improve their financial position. By working closely with clients throughout the year, she helps them make informed decisions rather than leaving planning until the end of the financial year.

She has also worked with clients to develop practical cash flow strategies that better align with their business operations and tax commitments. By improving cash flow planning and providing ongoing advice, Alex has helped clients gain greater confidence in managing their financial obligations while supporting the continued growth of their businesses.
