The Modernised Multicultural Grants Program seeks to support multicultural communities that often face significant barriers to accessing funding and infrastructure to connect and commune in a safe, physical environment.

This program seeks to support multicultural communities that often face significant barriers to accessing funding and infrastructure to connect and commune in a safe, physical environment.

Funded projects will target construction, upgrade or extension of infrastructure through three streams of funding:

  1. Amenity projects
  2. Small to medium infrastructure projects
  3. Larger infrastructure projects.

Stream 1 – $20,000 to $100,000
Stream 2 – $100,001 to $500,000
Stream 3 – $500,001 to $1.5 million

Streams 1 and 2 require a 25% co-contribution. Stream 3 requires a 50% co-contribution.

Applicants must be not‑for‑profit entities, and one of the following:

  • Company
  • Cooperative
  • Incorporated Association
  • Indigenous Corporation
    • Statutory Entity

This program will be assessed in batches:

Batch 1 closes 18 May 2026.
Batch 2 closes 12 November 2026.
