Oliver Smyth blir ny partner i RSM

Vi styrker M&A Transaction Services i RSM og ønsker Oliver Smyth velkommen som partner.

We are strengthening our M&A Transaction Services and are delighted to welcome Oliver Smyth to the team. He has long and relevant experience in the field and will undoubtedly bring along competence and exciting new opportunities as a partner in RSM Norge.

Oliver is originally from the UK. He started his career as an auditor at Deloitte in London, and later joined the Deloitte M&A Transaction Services team in Oslo. He is married, has three daughters and enjoys living in Norway; skiing during the winter and cycling in the summer. - Transaction Services is exciting for lots of reasons, but simply put, what I appreciate is that every project is different and every project matter to our clients.

Head of RSM’s M&A Transaction Services, Vidar Haugen, is excited about getting Oliver onboard. – His broad experience from assisting both private equity and corporate clients supports RSM’s strategy to be a competitive financial due diligence service provider.

In his TS roles to date, Oliver has supported clients, both Norwegian and international, with financial due diligence services including a large number of vendor engagements. In addition, Oliver has led several IPO DD assignments, for both Oslo Børs and Euronext Growth listings.

Oliver has spent the past five years at PwC Deals in Oslo. He’s motivated both by his teams and his clients. From a team perspective, he enjoys developing his colleagues to help them reach their potential. From a client perspective, he thrives from working together with his clients to achieve the right outcome for them at what is normally a crucial moment, typically in the middle of a M&A process, either in the form of buy side or sell side assistance.
